The Triangle XYM15 vertical form fill seal (VFFS) machine is a continuous motion machine that can run a variety of package styles, sizes, speeds, and film structures. The XYM15 is ideal for a variety of food products, including cereal, cheese, coffee, produce, IQF products, pasta, poultry, meat, and seafood. It’s the only vertical form fill seal bagger that offers the flexibility to run conventional heat sealing and ultrasonic welding on the same machine.
Ultrasonics is ideal for leafy produce, cheese, confectionery, and other products that require 100% seal integrity for an airtight product. This cold-sealing technology offers multiple benefits to food packagers, including savings on film, material, energy, and labor, and improved product quality and OEE. Plus, it can eliminate or significantly reduce leakers and rejects resulting from product compromising the seal. It can reduce or eliminate the need to manually inspect 100% of bags for leakers, for improved labor savings and higher throughput. For many product types, ultrasonic sealing requires less headspace, thanks to its ability to seal through food particles.
