We at American Packaging Capital (Ampac) strongly believe in giving back to our
community. Currently our organization of choice is the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge
(PMC). The PMC donates to the Jimmy Fund, which supports cancer research and care
at Boston's world-renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Our President, Greg Williams
(Rider # 29117-8), participates each year in raising money for this worthy cause.
With corporate sponsors covering the costs of all logistics, 100 cents of every dollar raised goes toward Dana Farber Cancer Intstitute and The Jimmy Fund. The PMC ride has contributed more than $205 million to life-saving cancer care and research. On August 2 and 3, nearly 5,500 cyclists traveled between 89 and 192 miles over one and two days, through 46 scenic
Massachusetts towns from Sturbridge and Wellesley to Bourne and Provincetown.
Over $33 million was raised in 2007 to afford Dana-Farber’s doctors and researchers
the resources necessary to discover cures for all cancers. The goal for 2008 is to exeed $34 million dollars. When transactions are funded, Ampac is happy to make a donation on behalf of our
vendors and customers. With your help, we can give back to our world-wide community by
contributing to lifesaving cancer care and research—one transaction at a time.
If you would like to contribute to this worthwhile cause or would like more information
about the PMC, please call 800-WE-CYCLE or visit www.pmc.org.
Thank you for your support!
